Description
The liquorice we grew up on is sugar plus the extracted concentrated juice from Liquorice roots
We sell the dried roots of liquorice, this is pure concentrented
When the liquorice roots are boiled down the juice can be extracted, when cooled the pure liquorice juice hardens
The flavour is pure liquorice, when I say pure I mean pure strong liquorice flavour - bitter is another word but quite nice to suck and nibble on
Can be used to add liquorice flavour to your sauces, goes very well with blackcurrant, creates an interesting ice-cream
To make the candy sweet version of liquorice simply add sugar to any mix and some chunks of pure liquorice stick - make sugar allie water by adding a few small chunks in water and waiting a few hours
